Ribbon Model of a Multiverse

a finite number of realities continuing in the shape of ribbons(of finite length beginning and ending on the surface of the object) are attached to the same object (i.e. world in our case). a dimensional hole/rift is created whenever any two ribbons pass over eachother.

For an easier example, consider our universe as an ever expanding body. the greater the surface area of the universe, the greater number of realities it can contain.

it can be visualized as a tennis ball with many strings attached to it.

every ribbon is different from the other. but if, at some point in time, their events begin to match, then those ribbons will combine to form a single ribbon. this hypothesis is in accordance with the law : only one body occupy a certain space at a certain time.

if two ribbons have exactly same realities then an anomaly will be created in which two copies of the same object will be occupying the same space at the same time.

back to the dependence of number of realities on the size of the object in question. the larger the system, the more entropy it will contain. entropy, in simple words, is a unit of randomness inside a system. the more random a system is, the more number of combinations of events can exist. every such combination of event is, in fact, another reality.

thermodynamics may be irritating sometimes, but its rather quite helpful because it is one of the few theories in physics that has no exception. it is applicable to all systems, whatever their size may be.

lines of thought..

Normal thinking is like a multi-storied building. the top floor is always based on the floor beneath it. such is human thinking/problem solving skills. a previous thought gives way to a new thought and how those two were related. every situation of decision can broken down in two simple parts : 'how' 'what' to do... and interesting enough, 'how' is the important part; 'what's are mere facts.

Any problem can be broken down in two basic parts :
1. What to do (Factual data)
2. How to do it (Implementation, the most important part)

the interesting part about 4D is that the seperate realities in a 4D universe will be flat.
a program can learn by putting a counter which increases with each fact stored in the database. i have named it the respect counter. the program always aims to increase this counter which will in-turn enable it to store facts voluntarily. the problem with this logic is its implementation using normal mathematical logic.

Example :

when encountered with the equation x=1+1, WHAT will encourage the program to find out the value of x ? :)

interesting.... isnt it ? the desire to learn being represented by a mathematical equation. i have a feeling its just out there.....
It should be mentioned here that there can be another model of the universe : the infinite parallel universe. the previous post was about a normal infinite universe in which the realities expand linearly(1,2,3,4...). now consider the shape of the cube. it is a fractal shape. please look up fractal in wikipedia if you dont know what it is. when u know what fractal is, consider our concentric cubes as fractals.... a pyramid made up of cubes which are themselves made up of cubes which follow the same pattern :)

in other words : an infinite parallel universe has realities made up of fractaled realities which are themselves again created by other smaller realities. in such a universe, the realities will expand geometrically(1,2,,4,16,256....). i leave its possiblities to the reader...

funny, isnt it ? the manner in which people name everything they donot want to think about as god...

does it not fit like a great puzzle ?? hehehehehhe

4 dimensional geometry

at present we define space as having 3 dimensions. the term space-time is defined as a space having the 4th dimension as time. therefore, our world as we observe is space-time.

a 3D space has the following dimensions : length, breadth and height.

now consider adding a 4th dimension to that 3D space. u will really have to concentrate so as to imagine a 4D space because we have never seen anything like it.

consider a cube. it has 3 dimensions. now imagine the cube as hollow with another cube placed inside it. the number of cube will be the 4th dimension,i.e., 2 in this case. therefore, if the cube is 6x6x6 then in the 4D space the cube will have dimensions 6x6x6x2 :)

assuming of course u have formed a mental picture of this 4Dspace, extend the number of hollow cubes to 10 and u have a 4D cube of 6x6x6x10. now, consider this 4D cube as a model of our universe, it will thus contain a world having 6x6x6 dimension and would also have 10 DIFFERENT such worlds so as to maintain the 4D geometry of the universe.

the above is a VERY idealistic model of our world :)
consider the fact that, the larger the world is, the more number of alternate world/realities it will have.

scientists today have not been able to measure the total space taken up by our universe but have been 'optimistic' enough to say that its expanding at an astonishing rate (which is to say is, if our present rate of calculating the expansion of space is less than the rate of expansion of the universe, we will never be able to determine the complete space in in the universe.

and just so that i am not accused of stomping on the general relativity, the universe is INFINITE to us and therefore, so are the realities.....

expansion of universe is proved by an affect observed with every body in out space. it says that every body is moving away from each other with their own location as the focal point of expansion :)

its just like when u blow into a balloon, it expands and every point on its surface moves away from eachother. it is the perfect example of a 4D space in a 3D setting. it should not be that hard to understand.

now, there have been a lot of talk about anti-matter also called dark matter.... which pardon me, is VERY misleading. u may soon realize why this is so.

let us go back to our picture of a 4D model of our universe (those concentric cubes). imagine that cube now in a shape of that time measurement device in which sand is poured from top to bottom. i cannot remember the name for that device. like, two pyramides joined at one of their pointed ends. now, since space has a 4th dimension, it must have a positive or a negative value with reference to a point in that dimension. for example : Noida is between New Delhi and Greater Noida. considering a distance scale with the centre point of Noida as a 0, Delhi will be in the positive direction while Greater Noida will be in the negative direction. the sign of the measurement depends on the placenment of the observer on the scale. employ this model for measuring the 4th dimension of the universe, u will see that every reality will have an alternate reality, which will be, in normal words, a mirror image of the other. anti-matter is simple the matter contained in this alternate reality. therefore, u see, dark or light is just a matter of perception, depending on which side of the 0 u are on :) it also gives us as idea about the previously mentioned relativity of time. if u are not aware of einstein's general theory of relativity, please read it up in wikipedia.

u will see that the above rule is followed by our observable nature herself. notice the symmetry in everything ? the symmetry of leaves, of numbers..... look at our own symmetry. symmetry is nature's way of telling about the infinite realities.....

if u see any flaw in whatever i have said then please do let me know.

Invisible Cloak

to make an invisible cloak, we need is a fiber embedded with cameras and projectors. for those who think this is very difficult to make, remember the millions of transistors we put on little silicon chips :)

next step will be the tough part. our aim will be to capture the light that falls on any camera and transfer the image to the projector which is exactly opposite on the other side of the cloak.

now there are two ways to achieve this :

1. make the cloak of a definite shape so that the wiring of cameras and projectors is easier.

2. make the cloak with no shape, like a piece of cloth. the cameras and projectors can either be of a pair or we need to figure out an algorithm for finding out where a specific camera needs to send the captured image.

sweet... on my first scientific paper, there is a recipe for making an invisible cloak.... -.-"
